What’s new at Action Sports WA in 2019?

As the sun starts to thaw out Perth after a particularly brutal winter, we all start to turn our thoughts to Summer fun. We’ve not been hibernating, in fact, we’ve been super busy this winter and have made loads of changes to Action Sports WA, to give you a better experience, more choice, and to make it easier and have more fun, in so many ways. Here is a list of the biggest changes and how this will effect you as a customer.
New Website
The most noticable change has to be our new website. We have invested heavily into a modern, easier to navigate, easier to maintain, and more user friendly website with 128 bit secure shopping and more ways to pay at the checkout. The old site was clunky, didn’t search well, was vulnerable to attack, was very difficult to navigate and also notoriously unreliable when trying to purchase online. We encourage you to check it out, have a browse around and please give us any feedback.
Shopping Online.
With our new E-Commerce webstore open, it is now easier to search for what you want, fast and easy checkout and choices of payment and shipping options. We now offer “Stripe” secure, credit card payment, Paypal and also Zip interest free finance at check out. For shipping we have installed the TransDirect shipping module which is a freight booking plug in. This will give much more cost effective freight prices where applicable. Yep, we are offering free shipping on orders over $400. The free shipping doesn’t include bulky items like surfboards and SUP boards. For these items, just call us for a competitive quote or use the Transdirect shipping option.

New Store Layout
The store has been stripped of most things SUP related and although we still have a few remaining items to clear, we have utilised the space where SUP was, and have added more wall space, as well as re-arranged the interior to make it more spacious and less cluttered, not to mention, easier to find the products you are interested in.
Hydrofoils
We have been selling the odd foils over the last two years but in 2019 we are bringing the best brands with heaps of choice to suit Kite, SUP and Prone surfing. We have Duotone, Fanatic, Slingshot, Shinn and Moses HF to suit all disciplines. We have so many great options to suit all budgets and needs and offer lessons and demo equipment all from the people you know and trust for great advice, great service, right products, and right price. New Kite Brands
We are pleased to welcome FlySurfer and their range of amazing foil kites. If you want to take Kitefoiling to the next level, check out the new Flysurfer Soul or their Sonic VMG range of kites. The difference Flysurfer Souls are also amazing for big air with a twin tip board too. Duotone isn’t really a new supplier although you may not recognise the name, but you will instantly recognise the products. Electric Skate
Boosted boards have released their latest boards, the Boosted Mini X and the Boosted Stealth. These ‘state-of-the-art’ boards are sure to impress and should be available from early October 2018. We have a Boosted Stealth board in store to demo currently with a Mini X soon to join the fleet. Evolve have the limited edition “One GT” until stocks last.
Stealth Electric Bikes
The worlds most bad ass electric offroad bike just got a power upgrade from the already impressive 5.2Kw, to a mind numbing 6.2Kw!
