Since 2020, CORE has been actively involved in the GKA‑led standardization of safety requirements for quick releases. ISO 21853 defines release forces not only in dry conditions, but also under demanding circumstances such as heavy sand contamination, high loads, and extreme temperatures. It also regulates material thickness and color coding to ensure intuitive, brand‑independent operation.
