Welcome to the "WEST COAST CORE CHALLENGE"

Instagram & Facebook Promotion — Action Sports x CORE Kites

Action Sports has teamed up with CORE Kites Australia, CORE Foils and CORE Kites to celebrate the West Coast's kiting and winging community — however you ride, whatever level you're at.

HOW IT WORKS

Post your best CORE kiting or wing shots and clips on Instagram, and tag @actionsportswa, @corekitesaustralia, @corefoils and @corekites. Every tagged post is an entry.

Each week, we pick one winning post. It's not just about the biggest trick — we're looking at a wide range of things, including:

 

*  Best air or most impressive trick

*  Best wave — biggest, cleanest, or most stylish ride

*  A personal or inspirational story behind the post

*  A wipeout with a great caption

*  A creative shot involving a prop, drink, or mascot

*  The most beautiful footage — scenic, sunset, or artistic

*  A crew, family, or community shot

*  A progression moment — a first foil session, first jump, first wave

*  A grom/kiddie shoutout

*  A comeback story

*  Sending it in marginal conditions with the best attitude

*  A standout drone shot or creative edit

 

And if it doesn't fit any of the above — surprise us. We're just as keen to see original ideas we haven't thought of.

We'll also run a special themed week around Christmas, with more details announced closer to the date.

 

WHAT YOU CAN WIN

Weekly prize: Each week's winner receives a $100 Action Sports store voucher

Grand prize: Every weekly winner goes into the draw for a brand-new CORE XR 8m

 

WHEN IT RUNS

The West Coast CORE Challenge is announced 27 October 2026. Entries officially open Wednesday 4 November 2026, with the first weekly winner announced Wednesday 11 November 2026 — and a new winner every Wednesday after that. The grand prize is drawn Wednesday 3 March 2027, from all weekly winners across the promotion.

Post your kiting or wing content on Instagram

Tag @actionsportswa, @corekitesaustralia, @corefoils and @corekites

That's it — you're in the running for that week's prize and the grand prize draw

 

TERMS

Open to all riders, any age or skill level

One winner selected per week at Action Sports' discretion

Entries must be original content, posted publicly, with all required accounts tagged

Winners will be contacted via Instagram and announced on Action Sports' social channels

Only entries within a given weekly judging period are eligible for that week's prize; all entries selected as weekly winners are entered into the grand prize draw

The grand prize (CORE XR 8m) will be drawn from all weekly winners and announced 3 March 2027
