So what can I expect?

Point D'Esny enjoys unobstructed trade winds straight off the Indian Ocean, it literally blows 24hrs a day making morning and/or afternoon sessions your toughest choice of the day. In our 2019 tour, we kited 13 days out of 14 with winds averaging 20 knots. I didnt even use my big kite last year and spent equal time between my small and medium kites. Some great mega boosting last year and a twin tip speed record of 67 kph!

Arguably the most beautiful location in Mauritius, the sandy beaches and crystal clear waters certainly add to the feeling of being away in paradise. The waters of Pointe D'Esny are protected by the outer reef, so the water is always quite flat, improving to very smooth right behind the outer reef, making for incredible twin tip speed runs. This idylic spot is best suited to foilboarding and twin tip riding.

Unlike LeMorne, there are no crowds, in fact, very few people kite here outside of the local school and the odd visitor. With constant wind, smooth water and rigging on the best part of the beach right behind the back patio of the house, you will be guaranteed progression in your kiting.

If you are interested in our winter tour, we are now taking bookings for 2020 with departure date 5th July 2020 to 18th July 2020.  We expect the tour to book up quickly, so if you are interested, don't leave it too long and end up disappointed!
